During the 6:00 pm evening service on February 3, we will have a special showing of a 28-minute movie called the “The Yali Story”. Stone age headhunters and cannibals, who tracked and killed missionaries in Papua New Guinea are confronted with the Gospel of Christ and the Word of God in their own tongue.
Yali are major tribal group in Papua, Indonesia, and live to the east of the Baliem Valley in the Papuan highlands. Their major towns are Angguruk and Kosarek, and which are isolated by challenging geography. The major access to their territory is by air. Their territory is known collectively as Yalimo. Please come see how they respond when the entire Bible is printed in their language. An exciting and dynamic story of God’s power at work.
