A Biblical Foundation for the Assurance of your Salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-2)

Larry Duran, July 17, 2016
Part of the Sunday Messages series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The writers of the New Testament Epistles have given us countless warnings about the dangers of apostasy. What is it that contributes to our potential to ‘fall away from the faith’? Is there a 'danger of believing in vain'? If so, how do we know if we’re a child of God? Can we have a false sense of our salvation? The chief objective of our guest speaker is to outline the ‘Biblical Foundation for the Assurance of your Salvation’ so that you may distinguish between ‘genuine’ or ‘false’ faith.

1 Corinthians 15:1–2 (Listen)

15:1 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
